As the first residential community in America to offer this technology, Grouse Mountain Estates has serviced each homesite with full time, high capacity Internet connectivity at speeds in the million-plus bps range, utilizing fiber-optic technology. To provide additional security, each homesite is serviced by a dedicated multi-mode fiber-optic pair.

Grouse Mountain Estates was very fortunate to have affiliated with the Microsoft Corporation who provided their guidance and expertise in designing our state-of-the-art communications system. The community has also installed the fiber-optic cable to a reserved location on the south face of the mountain where a satellite dish may be installed by the Homeowner’s Association to provide access to a myriad of satellite down links. Because it is impossible to predict the requirements of future technology, additional conduits are installed under the streets to allow for expansion and to easily accommodate future changes. While known for its breathtaking scenery and historic parks, The Flathead Valley has the highest percentage of online usage per capita in the US, as well as an equally large number of people who telecommute each day.
