Foreclosures continue to decrease; 2011 was high point for distressed sales BY JIM KELLEY // NOV 30, 2016 // LATEST HEADLINES, NEWS & FEATURES Foreclosures continue to decrease.  This chart shows a seven-year history of  foreclosure and distressed home sales in Flathead County. The high point of the distressed home sales occurred in 2011 when 33.6 percent of the sales were bank-owned (REO) properties and another 8.4 percent were short sales.
